Jacob van den Borne is a pioneer in precision farming.
He uses GPS, remote sensing, satellite navigation, soil moisture probes, humidity sensors, weather stations, soil scanners, drones and a tractor to collect data. Everything is optimised he tells, and he saves water, fertiliser, crop protection products and a lot of fuel. Furthermore it has improved the yield and the quality of the crops.
